Daves Creek Wildfire

The Daves Creek Wildfire evacuation alert is now rescinded. This includes the following three addresses in the Joe Rich area.

  • 5609, 5615, 5619 Goudie Road

As firefighters continue to monitor and address hot spots, area residents should expect to see some residual smoke and tree removals by BC Wildfire Service, as well as the regular movement of fire equipment.

UPDATE: Goudie Road is expected to reopen to single-lane alternating traffic this afternoon. Crews are continuing to assess and remove danger trees this week due to the wildfire. Please give crews room to work and follow direction from personnel for the safety of everyone.
