Evacuation alert area changes
With progress made on the wildfire at 30% containment, the Evacuation Alert area has been adjusted.
Residents on evacuation alert should be prepared to leave their homes again on short notice, if fire conditions change. A detailed map showing the affected properties is available at http://www.cordemergency.ca/map.

No changes have been made to properties on evacuation order. Properties on Evacuation Order include: 310 – 1495 Philpott Rd
Residents allowed back to their properties should be aware that active fire suppression work continues throughout the area of the fire. Please stay out of the way of emergency vehicles and crews. BC Emergency Preparedness has additional information for returning home after a wildfire.
Residents on the Falcon Ridge Water System returning home should be aware that they are on Boil Water Notice and stage two watering restrictions, more information can be found on the Regional District website.
The Emergency Support Services reception centre at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33 West will be open from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm today.
The next update from the Emergency Operation Centre is anticipated by noon tomorrow unless the situation changes.
